Internship Opportunities at the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships

 

The 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championship is seeking interns of all ages who are interested in a meaningful, unique, hands-on experience at the largest international lacrosse event in history. In addition to contributing to the World Championships, interns will have the opportunity to compete in the Israel Premier Lacrosse League and/or the World Lacrosse Festival. Responsibilities include:

  • Sponsorship Fulfillment
    Chaperone sponsor concierge and operate on/off field sponsorship contests
  • Social Media
    Assist in creating content as well as evaluate content across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Venue Management
    Assist event set-up and manage on and off field space to verify that all is running smoothly
  • Youth/Community Development
    Lead all youth volunteers in day to day responsibilities and oversee at-risk youth groups who will be in attendance
  • VIP Experience
    Supervise VIP sections and act as a host to all guests and visitors ensuring their needs are met
  • Ticket Sales
    Facilitate guest entry and oversee ticket purchases
  • Operations
    Administer all services, personnel, and inventory
  • Television/ Webcast Production
    Collaborate with media personnel to make sure that all event games are covered and key players are interviewed
  • Media Relations & Communications
    Act as a major point of contact for all media personnel and assist in the press box and press conference area
  • Fan Services
    Distribution of promotional materials and assisting all customers so they have the highest quality experience
  • Game Production
    Ensure all teams and referees have all of the necessary material and information
  • Merchandising & Concessions
    Supervise and assist all purchases and manage employee-customer interactions
  • Team Liaison
    Responsible for team whereabouts and make certain all team transportation is coordinated efficiently
